Giving Tuesday is a day for Saints around the globe to come together to celebrate USF students and encourage giving to the university! This year for Giving Tuesday, the University of St. Francis has decided to focus attention on a very important fund called the Francis Fund. The Francis Fund allows us the opportunity to continue the university’s long history of responding to the emerging needs of our students. Enabling students to bloom and pursue a brighter purpose. Take part in Giving Tuesday and support USF students in pursuing their academic goals.

Giving Tuesday FAQs

Giving Tuesday is a 24-hour global fundraising movement that the University of St. Francis celebrates with alumni, parents, friends, and students.

The global event typically occurs on the first Tuesday after the Thanksgiving holiday, following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It kicks off at midnight and closes at 11:59 p.m. the same day. It 

On Giving Tuesday, give a gift here between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. You can also donate early and request that your gift is counted toward Giving Tuesday.

Yes, of course! Support from everyone in the USF community (alumni, parents, friends, students) counts on this day. In fact, we would love for you to make your gift and share on social media, using the hashtags #EveryGiftMatters and #GivingTuesdayUSF. This allows others to hear about this special day and make their own gift. The more you share, the more successful the day will be!

Ongoing support is essential to providing the transformative learning experiences and scholarships at USF, so all Giving Tuesday gifts are applied to the Francis Fund unless otherwise specified.

Yes. All payments will be processed using a secure online giving form. The information collected during Giving Tuesday will be used only by USF!
