The University of St. Francis Barnes & Noble Bookstore is located in Tower Hall on the Main Campus. There you will find textbooks and novels, USF apparel, gifts, study supplies, snacks and much more! For more information, including current store hours, or to contact the store, visit the USF Barnes & Noble Bookstore website.
You may purchase your books at the USF Barnes & Noble Bookstore located on Main Campus in Tower Hall, 500 Wilcox Street, or you can order your textbooks online. During the pandemic, we strongly recommend that you order your books online through the bookstore vs. shopping in store to avoid lines.
There are two easy ways to order your books online.
We buy back books every day, no matter where you bought them. The best time to sell back your books is during finals week.
Just bring your school ID and books to the textbook department and we can tell you the value.
Renting textbooks is a great way to save money! When you rent a book, you have the book for the entire semester. Rentals are due back the last day of finals. You can highlight and take light notes in the books, but they need to be returned in saleable condition by the due date. Saleable condition means no missing pages, the cover is in good condition, and no water damage. You can pay for rentals any method that you chose, including financial aid if you have it.
However, you must have a credit card to secure the rental. If rentals are not returned on time in saleable condition by the due date, you will be charged replacement fees to the credit card on file.
You will receive email reminders to return your rentals at the end of the semester.
Yes! If you have money left over after tuition and room & board are paid, that money can be used to purchase/rent your textbooks, school supplies, backpacks, laptops, and USF clothing!
You can use financial aid for purchases in store or online, and only at the start of the main semester—the financial period runs two weeks before the semester begins through the first two weeks of class.
We’ll ask for your student ID # (which starts with 800) at the time of purchase. To find out how much financial aid money you have available for bookstore purchases, you can check the financial aid summary on your MyUSF portal.
