Kevin “Duffy” Blackburn is a teaching instructor in the College of Business & Health Administration at the University of St. Francis. He brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and public service, with a focus on connecting students to real-world applications and professional development.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Iowa and two master’s degrees in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School. He has also completed executive education at Harvard, Notre Dame, and MIT. Kevin is a licensed CPA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
In addition to teaching, Kevin has been appointed to several Illinois state boards and commissions and actively serves on nonprofit boards supporting seniors, children, and multicultural communities. He enjoys mentoring students and spending time with his family.
Kevin teaches financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, cost accounting, taxation, and accounting information systems.
