I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Registered Nurse, and Teaching Instructor at the University of St. Francis. I also have a degree in Psychology. I have been a nurse since 2000 and an FNP since 2006. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The majority of my FNP experience has been in a retail/convenient care clinic as the sole provider on site. I also have experience in orthopedics, operating room, first assisting, research nursing, emergency room, and clinical instructing.
I began my teaching journey with USF in 2018 as an adjunct faculty member. I came on as a full-time teaching instructor in August 2021. I have taught the following nursing courses: Psychopharmacology, Research, Pediatrics and Ethical/Legal. I love teaching and work hard to make learning fun, exciting and memorable.
I am married to a great guy and we have one daughter. In terms of pets, we have a cat, a dog, and seven chickens. In my free time, I love traveling with my family, reading, hiking, working out, riding my motorcycle and binge-watching Netflix.
I have taught the following nursing courses: Psychopharmacology, Advanced Health Assessment, Theoretical Principles in Clinical Management III, Research Nursing, Professional Nursing Practice III (Pediatrics), Ethical/Legal Nursing, and Leadership & Management.
