B.A. in Psychology from Loras College
M.S. in Nursing from DePaul University
I began working as a nurse in 2006. I started in Medical-Surgical Nursing and found my true calling in Labor and Delivery, where I worked for 15 years. I have also taught clinical in that area, along with critical care, fundamentals, and the capstone courses. I made the move to classroom education to teach maternal newborn, but also find much joy in lab and simulation. I enjoy bringing props to class and really bringing the class alive! I will be teaching the OB portion of Nursing 450, Ministry of Nursing, and Health Assessment labs.
I have 4 children who are my heart and soul. I am an avid runner and enjoy racing for charities and challenging myself with exercise.
