Music at Moser Fall 2025 Lineup Announced; First Concert is “Love, Dean” on Sept. 13

The University of St. Francis Music at Moser concert series has been providing the community with entertainment for decades. Music lovers of all ages are welcome to enjoy a show at our quaint campus in Joliet’s Cathedral Area.

Joliet, Ill. – The University of St. Francis (USF) has announced the Music at Moser Fall 2025 lineup, kicking off with Love, Dean, on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. All concerts will take place in the Sexton Auditorium (Moser Performing Arts Center) at the University of St. Francis at 500 Wilcox Street, Joliet, Ill. unless otherwise noted. Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 7 p.m.
Love, DEAN is a Soul-Americana duo from Portland, Oregon. With just two voices and a vintage hollow-body guitar, Rachael and Luke Price create music that’s raw, timeless, and full of soul. They are known for their rich harmonies, heartfelt songwriting, and undeniable onstage chemistry. Their latest self-titled release is out now, and they’re currently at work on their third studio album.

Joliet Symphony Orchestra: Impassioned
Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 7 p.m. & Sunday, September 28 2025 at 4 p.m.
The Joliet Symphony Orchestra’s season begins with “Impassioned,” featuring saxophonist Nathan Bogert performing David Canfield’s Concerto after Gliere. Also on the program are Giuseppe Verdi’s powerful Nabucco Overture and Alexander Borodin’s monumental Symphony No. 2 in b minor. Come 45 minutes early to learn more about the music during our “Noteworthy” pre-concert chats with Artistic Director & Conductor Sean Paul Mills and guests!

Grace Pettis & Natalie Price
Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 7 p.m.
Grace Pettis epitomizes the term singer/songwriter. As a singer, her voice is both powerful and beautiful, and she uses it like a fine arts painter to color and craft her songs. She has collaborated with acclaimed artists Indigo Girls and Ruthie Foster and is the winner of many of the nation’s most prestigious songwriting contests, including NPR’s Mountain Stage New Song Contest, and has received grants from the Buddy Holly Educational Foundation, where she is a continuing mentor, and the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation. Natalie Price is a singer and songwriter, primarily known for her indie-folk-Americana sound, characterized by her soulful vocals, sincere lyrics and unique blend of genres. Formerly based in Austin, Texas and now in Nashville, she has been creating music for a decade. In 2023, Price was the Grand Prize winner in the prestigious NewSong Music Performance and Songwriting Competition, one of North America’s premier songwriter showcases.

Enjoy an extra-special performance as violinist Rebekah Cope-Evers and cellist Patricia White join the JSO for “Fate & Destiny.” The concert features Johannes Brahms’ unique Double Concerto in a minor alongside Hector Berlioz’s exuberant Hungarian March and Ludwig van Beethoven’s ever-popular Symphony No. 5 in c minor. Come 45 minutes early to learn more about the music during our “Noteworthy” pre-concert chats with Artistic Director & Conductor Sean Paul Mills and guests!

Christmas at the Motherhouse
Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 1 p.m.

This performance will take place in the St. Joseph Chapel (Motherhouse)
USF’s Claritas Master Chorale will be joined by other University of St. Francis and community musicians to present the university’s annual “Christmas at the Motherhouse.” This beloved holiday tradition features new and traditional Christmas music to set the scene for the season… bring your loved ones to celebrate family, faith, and the birth of a King.
