My nursing career came a littler later in life for me. I am a licensed cosmetologist and a Registered Nurse. During nursing school, I was married with small kiddos and working in a salon. Once receiving my RN license, I began my nursing career by working with teens who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. I went back to school to earn my MSN. The rest of my nursing background is in surgical services. I worked as a scrub nurse in the OR, and I worked in both Pre-Op and Post-Op nursing. I have been teaching nursing since 2021 and started my journey with University of St. Francis in Spring of 2025. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and beach destinations.
