Guaranteed Admission Agreement

Known as The Bridge Forward Partnership, the collaboration creates a clear, supportive pathway from JJC to USF bachelor’s degree programs. The agreement guarantees admission for eligible JJC students into University of St. Francis undergraduate programs and aligns advising, communication and financial guidance to ensure a seamless transfer experience.

To take full advantage of this partnership, interested students at JJC should complete the USF-JJC Guaranteed Admission Participation Form at least two semesters prior to when they plan to transfer.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for guaranteed admission under this agreement, a JJC student must meet the following:

• Maintain continuous enrollment at JJC in good standing
• Earn at least an associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) or equivalent transferable credit (minimum 60 credits) from JJC
• Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale at JJC
• Complete the general education/core coursework and any specific prerequisites for the major at USF as outlined in the Transfer Guide
• Submit an application to USF for admission no later than one semester before intended transfer
• Maintain good academic and disciplinary standing at JJC and comply with USF’s transfer admission policies.

Benefits of Participating

In addition to guaranteed admission, USF is committed to offering additional benefits to those transferring through the Bridge Forward Partnership.

• Receive a Preferred Transfer Scholarship and eligibility to apply for additional merit-based scholarships
• Work with a designated transfer counselor early on to receive dual advising and financial counseling.
• Attend exclusive events and workshops designed to support the transition from JJC to USF and academic success
• Transfer up to 70 credit hours from JJC to be used toward the bachelor’s degree

Students also have access to Transfer Guides and can work with their designated transfer counselor to map out a four-year degree plan.
