Must earn a “C” or above with no repeat courses in Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Statistics
Only two withdrawals are allowed in above courses; must successfully complete courses before admission review
“Nursing Readiness” will be determined by the admissions counselor and/or Leach College of Nursing (LCON) Admission and Progression Committee.
Nursing Deadlines: A student’s file that is “Nursing Program Ready” will be submitted to the Nursing Admission Committee for consideration. To be eligible for review the student must submit her/his official transcript(s) and meet all admissions requirements.
USF accepts applications year-round – however, priority will be placed on those who fulfill their application requirements early (and completely). The number of places in the program is limited so applications are reviewed in order of when they are completed.
Students are admitted for fall, spring, and summer terms, pending space in the Nursing program. Students who are eligible but not accepted into the program will be placed on a wait-list for one semester.
