Preparing Your I-20

If you have received your acceptance letter from the University of St. Francis, congratulations! We now want to help prepare your I-20 so that you can apply for your Visa to come to the United States and USF. Below are the documents we need in order for us to prepare your I-20. Once prepared, we will email them to you so you can make an appointment with the U.S. Consulate and apply for your F-1 Visa.

If you are bringing dependents with you, you must also include a copy of all of their passports.

The affidavit form will be emailed to you once accepted. Please print, complete, sign and return to intladmissions@stfrancis.edu.

These are typically in form of bank statements that would at least equal the amount listed on the affidavit. This information is needed for your I-20.

There is a financial guarantee for SACM or other government-sponsored students.

To confirm your spot in our next incoming international class, we ask for a $550 tuition deposit. All undergraduate students must live on campus their first year.

STUDENT WIRE TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS

To make a wire transfer for your deposit, please bring the information below to your bank. It is very important that when sending the wire transfer, you include your first and last name and USF student account number that begins with 800. As soon as you have made the transfer, please send an email to jschager@stfrancis.edu with the amount of the transfer so we will know whose payment we have received.

DEPOSIT REFUND POLICY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Accepted international students must make a $550 deposit before an I-20 will be issued. Deposit refunds can be requested up to one month before the start of the term. If the student has a known Visa appointment after the deadline date, USF will handle those requests on a case-by-case basis. Accepted students can also defer to a future semester and their deposit will be held on their student account.

Next Steps

After we have received all of your required documents, our International Admissions staff will review all documents in preparation for your I-20. If all requirements are met, USF will issue your I-20 and will email it to you as soon as possible. You will then be able to take the next steps to prepare for your arrival. Again, welcome to University of St. Francis! If you have any questions please contact International Admissions at intladmissions@stfrancis.edu.
