Cindy Sloan began as a faculty member at USF in 2000 and has served as the Associate Dean of the College of Education since 2006. She has taught many graduate and undergraduate courses and was instrumental in the creation of REAL and the expansion of graduate programs. Her academic interest centers on mindfulness and its potential to mitigate the self-perceived stress of students and teachers.
She enjoys being in nature either hiking, biking, or gardening; nurturing a host of creatures; and spending time with her family.
