BSN, Elmhurst College
MSN, Northshore School of Anesthesia
DNP, University of St. Francis
I earned my BSN in 1997 and after working in ICU/CVICU settings for 6 years, I went back to school for my MSN. I received my MSN degree in nurse anesthesia in 2006 and have been working as a CRNA since then. In 2019 I graduated from USF with my DNP, so USF is my alma mater. I have been teaching MSN courses at USF since 2019 and I also teach clinical anesthesia to CRNA students at St. Joseph Medical Center. I love my practice as a CRNA and I enjoy teaching graduate students.
I am married and have a daughter who is also pursuing the art of nursing practice. I love to play throwball (a game similar to volleyball) and am part of a travel team with my daughter. I volunteer with several community projects and community-based clinics and in my free-time I love to crotchet.
