“When you learn, teach. When you get, give.” – Maya Angelou
I graduated from the BSW program at the University of St. Francis, where my passion for helping others was truly galvanized and where I first realized the potential that a degree in social work could hold. For nearly a decade I served individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use issues, and worked with diverse adolescent, adult, and elderly populations. I also have extensive training in motivational interviewing, and I am dedicated to teaching and promoting the use of evidence-based practices. I am honored to be back at USF, and hope to inspire, and be inspired by, future generations of social workers.
