Nursing, Health Care & Science Visit Day

Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 9 a.m.

Plan to attend this exclusive USF visit event, designed specifically designed for students interested in nursing, health care and science!

Future Nursing (BSN) students will tour the Leach College of Nursing’s simulation labs, where students get hands-on experience learning about medical conditions that nurses see in real-care settings. They’ll also meet current nursing students and the nursing faculty—a support system of experienced nurses who will help their students every step of the way.

Students with an interest in health care and the sciences will explore USF’s Biology (B.S.), Biochemistry (B.S.), Diagnostic Medical Technology (B.S.), Histotechnology (B.S.), Medical Laboratory Science (B.S.), Nuclear Medicine Technology (B.S.), Radiation Therapy (B.S.) and Radiography (B.S.) programs, as well as pre-professional tracks in athletic training, medicine and more.  They’ll also discover more about USF’s Science Fellows honors program and tour the LaVerne & Dorothy Brown Science Hall.

Students interested in health care and business can learn more about USF’s Health Care Management (BBA) degree, including health care delivery and management, information management, epidemiology and more. This degree prepares students to lead with compassion and excellence in many health care settings, including some that are expected to see high growth in Illinois in the coming years. Your experience may land you in a high paying job such as Patient Experience Manager (Illinois median salary $75,000), Medical & Health Services Manager (Illinois median salary $117,000) or Health Informatics (Illinois median salary $100,000).
