Loan Repayment Assistance Program

The USF Promise—USF’s loan repayment assistance program (LRAP)— is an innovative promise to students: if your income after graduation is less than $50,000, we can help you repay your federal student, parent PLUS and private alternative loans after graduation.

We’re investing in this program because we want to empower our students to focus on pursing their passions knowing their future is secure. 

The USF Promise program will help you follow life wherever it may lead because student loan debt won’t be holding you back. The best part—this unique award is offered at no cost to students. 

Who's eligible?

Anyone who enrolls at USF who may be thinking about taking out a student loan or has a parent take out a PLUS loan and is a:

  • new, incoming first-year student or;
  • new, incoming transfer student and has at least two years left to receive a bachelor’s degree
