Examines how children learn through play and how play-based learning can support children’s development in a the physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and language domains. Candidates will delve into the theoretical foundations of play and examine the works of theorists such as Piaget, Vygotsky, and Erikson, to gain insights into the various stages of play development.
